Dr. Kristen Gee is a proud born-and-raised Calgarian who considers the Rocky Mountains her second home. After completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Calgary, she went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry on the Dean’s Honours List from the University of Waterloo. During an externship in Baltimore, she gained invaluable experience focusing on glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and dry eye management. She has also enjoyed the opportunity to volunteer with teams in Guatemala and Peru to provide compassionate vision care to isolated populations.
Sharing real human connection is what drew Dr. Gee to optometry and the best part of her day is building genuine relationships. Understanding each patient’s unique history, interests, and lifestyle, allows her to take a customized approach to vision care and ocular health. Dr. Gee is passionate about taking the time to educate her patients about their eye conditions, empowering them to take proactive care of their eyes for life.
When she is not joyfully chasing her two young children around, she is often reading, cooking, or out hiking. With her batteries charged, she loves to bring energy, enthusiasm and passion to her patients.
