Dr. Nicole Stocks was born and raised in the greater Vancouver area. She completed a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in microbiology at the University of Victoria. Dr. Stocks went on to attend Pacific University College of Optometry where she graduated as a member of the honours society. During her time at Pacific University, Dr. Stocks helped instruct other students as a teaching assistant. She also had the opportunity to travel to Peru on a humanitarian trip to provide eye care to underserved communities. During her final year, Dr. Stocks completed further training in ocular disease and primary care at a medical center in Phoenix, AZ, a Veterans Affairs Medical Hospital in Spokane, WA, and private practices in Oregon and Calgary.
Dr. Stocks has taken a special interest in soft contact lenses and myopia management. As a contact lens wearer for almost 25 years, she is familiar with the struggles her patients go through and is committed to helping them get the best vision and comfort possible. Dr. Stocks’ patients appreciate and trust her first-hand experience and expertise with soft contact lenses. Dr. Stocks is a firm believer in education and prevention and strives to make sure her patients have the best care available.
In her spare time, Dr. Stocks enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, cooking, reading, and traveling.
